i am a ny resident. I know that I probably didn't do well on my last mcat. I haven't received the score yet. I wanted to know some low tier med schools. Also, this was my second try at mcats, should i try it again in september for 2009 admission. my overall gpa is 3.62 and bio gpa is 3.89

You should try some of the Osteopathic schools in NY. If you are dead set on Allopathic though, you should look into the SUNY's and Albany.

I've heard that Buffalo is the easiest school to get into, although I don't think it's very good, and most kids aren't happy there. I know your posting was last year, so I'm curious where you ended up.

Where did you get the information on students like or dislike certain med schools? I am not pointing to buffalo per se, but would like to know the information source .

I have a couple friends that went to Buffalo. They went at different times and didn't know each other, and they all said the same thing. So I don't know about most schools, just the one I went to and the ones my friends went to.
