I have a family member that's a member of the admissions committee at one medical school and she's kinda given me the inside scoop on a lot of things, one being that whole pre-med major thingy. What it basically comes down to is taking up whatever your good at and what's going to make you happy during your undergraduate years. As long as you take the required med school prereqs and the mcat and do well in both of these area...you should be good to go. I'm currently an antropology major and lovin it, but I also know that I have to keep doing well in my science classes. Anyway...I've gotten a lot of good advice from my inside scoop and thought I'd share it. Also, in addition to the article anamaky gave, insidezout magazine insidezoutmag. com has an article this month on pre-med choosing a major too. Good luck.
