What is the difficult part of nursing?

Postby amygarside » Mon Nov 26, 2012 1:11 am

Nursing is a profession that needs people who are strong both emotionally and physically. If you are a weaker person you might want to give it up and choose another career. As a nurse, the most difficult for me is to see babies suffering from diseases. I see their tiny bodies with tubes and needles. I know I should be used to it by now but it still gets to me. How about you, what is the most difficult part of nursing?

How many times did you experience it? Does it get any better?

It is a never ending cycle and hopefully you tend to protect yourself from the sadness.
