That's a harsh truth, but that 3.0 doesn't have to stay that way. Doing a Masters will certainly help your academic record. Don't be worried about not getting in, by the way, because the programs know that they exist for a reason. They'll accept a 2.5, because that's who needs these programs.

Also, of course, to get into Medical School a strong MCAT, awesome Personal Statement, interesting extracurriculars, and great interviews help.
