Sponsored posts

We'll be trying a new thing on the forum: sponsored posts.

We'll try it for a month and see how it works out. I welcome your feedback - please PM me with comments about the posts, the services, or anything related to this.

Here's how to tell if a post is sponsored:

1. It will be clearly marked "sponsored"

2. It will be locked so users can't reply to it directly

3. There will be at most 2 sponsored posts on any forum

Our hope is that this will be an unobtrusive way of generating revenue for the site and providing services to visitors interested in the product.
