UC vs. CSU for pre med

is there a difference between going to a uc or csu for premed? are med school admin prejudiced?

of course they are even tho they say they arent. put yourself in their shoes and ask yourself the same question its a psychological thing in their head or anyones head


but again, a 3.5 at uc wont be chosen over a3.7 at csu with same other stats

but a 3.7 vs a 3.7, is it worth taking that chance? i duno put yourself in their shoes

UC's are so competitive for med programs that if u want to attend a UC for med... then you should also attend a UC for undergrad. ex.. UCSD Med tends to take a good number of UCSD undergrad students i believe.

ive heard otherwise. ucla for example tends NOT to accept too many of their students. someone told me that they claim that they want a "variety" of medical students.
so go figure


the point is, get the highest gpa anywhere you go and give yourself the best shot possible its not worth those "what ifs"
