Can a US trained doctor practice abroad?

aIf not, what are rules i.e. do I need to take 4-5 classes or is it just a test ,etc?

MD yes you may have to take a License test in some countries

DO not All countries there are a few you will not be able to practice in. The UK just started limited registration for instance, for DO's

MD = all countries abroad (some needed extra tests).

DO = recognized in few countries (definitely re-tested).

VOODOO = all countries abroad. No exam necessary. Some claim that one can practice abroad while staying in the US... :roll:
