my stats were:
MCAT 24O, GPA 3.8, Major: Psychology with more than enough credits for a minor in chemistry.
2 years research and a summer fellowship with american cancer society (although they didn't ask about research during the interview, because the questions are now unified)
shadowed 3 physicians; 2 M.D.s and one D.O.
Volunteered in hospital for 3 months (4 hours per week)
Science classes beyond the minimum requirements:
Calculus 1 and 2, biochemistry, analytical chemistry, anatomy and physiology.
I am not PA resident, i am an Ohio resident. On the day of my interview, most people were from Ohio! I don't know why!
NOTE: LECOM is a private school, so it should not give preference to in-staters. The only advantage for instaters is lower tuition by only $1100 per year, which is nothing. So basically, if you are not a PA applicant, you should be treated the same as a PA applicant.
My acceptance letter was sent about 10 days after the interview.
Good Luck
