Chances of getting into DO schools

Fri Sep 14, 2012 5:56 am

Hi,

My undergraduate GPA is 3.26 and my MCAT score was 22P and I was thinking about applying. I have over 200 hours of volunteer work at hospital and lots of extracurricular activities along with working for all 4 years and teaching for over a year. But I am not sure about my chances of getting in. And over 3 yrs of research experience including a publication. Please let me know what you think I should do? what are my chances? Do I even have a chance? Thanks

Apply to DO schools that is your best chance with a low MCAT, Honestly its too low and the GPA is just high enough for DO consideration. You could get into one of the Big Caribbean 3 though. You may want to retake the MCAT

I want to apply to DO schools but not quite sure which would be best to apply to with that GPA and MCAT. Not sure what to do.
