for someone who has taken the Kaplan Prep class:
Is it worth taking? It is expensive so is it worth the money, and do you really see a profound difference?

I took it. I got a 22 on their mini-MCAT they give at the beginning of the course. I got a 28 on the real thing (took it once, after the Kaplan course).

I wasn't too happy with that score, but it wasn't Kaplan's fault. I was so burned out at that time that I didn't take advantage of what the class had to offer. If I had used the class as much as I should have, I am sure that I would have gotten 35+.

If you can devote a substantial amount of energy to the course, and you don't slack off, the course is totally worth it. They can do only so much, the rest is up to you.
