Indiana University

Highlights: Residents are exposed to a large and diverse patient population across three Level 1 emergency departments, including Indiana’s only Level 1 children’s emergency department. Together, these departments see 250,000 patients per year. This program offers three voluntary tracks – academic, advocacy, and EMS – to help residents tailor their careers to their interests. Indiana University also provides strong training in pediatric emergency medicine and offers the oldest combined EM-Pediatrics residency program in the nation.
